As a Journeyman Electrician, you'll keep our facility running providing electrical support on our industrial equipment. You'll work in one location, learn from a Master Electrician, and enjoy a steady schedule with no required overtime.

What You Will Get To Do

  • Apply knowledge of current electrical codes and industry best practices.
  • Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain a variety of electrical equipment such as control panels, switchboards, junction boxes, conduit, equipment control devices, motors and other electrical equipment.
  • Test and verify compatibility and safety of circuits, components, switches, controls, and other electrical equipment.
  • Use wiring diagrams to diagnose issues and establish safe work procedures.
  • Support the Master Electrician and manager with project bids involving outside vendors or contractors.
  • Collaborate with Production Operations and Maintenance to improve efficiency and meet company goals.
  • Uphold plant safety rules, policies and regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area.

What You'll Bring To The Role

  • A valid Minnesota Class A Journeyman Electrician License for the entire duration of employment.
  • 5+ years of electrical experience.
  • 3+ years of experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Graduate of an accredited vocational institution preferred.
  • Proven skills working with switchboards, junction boxes, switches, control panels, components, circuit breakers, motors and wiring.
  • Experience working with PLCs, switchgears, infrared survey, and high voltage (up to 138kV) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of UL Listing/Certification is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, comfortable working with others.
