Senior Power Electronic Designer

Job Description
Support the overall corporate design-in success of ON Semi products in AI cloud datacenters.The focus is on proposing competitive system solutions to our customers using onsemi products.
What you’ll do:
- Design highly efficient power converters (AC/DC and DC/DC) up to 50kW.
- Create and analyze electronic circuit simulations using tools such as PSPICE, MATLAB or PLECS.
- Create schematics and design PCBs (preferably using Altium Designer).
- Perform calculations for digital and analog circuits.
- Select electronic components to meet specific project requirements.
- Produce technical documentation.
- Conduct testing, debugging, and measurements in the laboratory.
- Collaborate with software engineers on firmware debugging.

What we are looking for:
- BSc, MSc, or PhD. Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 8 years of hands-on experience in power electronics.
- Strong multidisciplinary knowledge in power electronics, analog and digital hardware design.
- In-depth knowledge and practical experience with power semiconductor devices (MOSFET, JFET, IGBT, BjT).
- Proficiency in schematic interpretation, debugging electronic boards, and understanding associated mechanical and thermal design.
- Familiar with laboratory equipment (e.g. oscilloscopes, power analyzers, etc.).
- Basic experience in programming (e.g. C/C++, Python, Arduino, etc.).
- Knowledge of industrial standards and regulations.
- Knowledge of EMC/EMI compliance.
- Proficient communication (verbal and written) in English.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and committed to continuous learning.
