Job Description

Job Summary:

· To be responsible for overseeing overall activities related to engineering functions within the plant to ensure continuous and efficient production to the desired quality and meeting all KPI that assigned.

· To spearhead all process and assembly issues as well as initiative innovative ways to increase efficiency.


Responsibilities

Responsibilities

· Act as engineering liaison with new product design and development to ensure processes and designs are compatible.

· Plan and divert resources efficiently and effectively towards realizing the business goal.

· Place emphasis on long term business horizon and advice on the strategic move.

· Coordinate with manufacturing, equipment, manufacturing support function to execute business plan.

· Review and revise PFMEA, Control plan, Work Instructions, OCAP and OPL for new product and new qualified devices. Involve in preparation of Engineering Build Request and Evaluation lots.

· Confirm and review MSA, GRR and report analysis of measuring equipment for new product.

· Be responsible for process and machine optimization using statistical tools and design of experiments method.

· Make effective use of data analysis tools for problem solving in the line such as pareto, trend charts, Paynter, JMP analysis, Design of Experiment, DMAIC Methodology and others.

· Develop working instructions, workmanship standards, and process documents, process control plan, FMEA, OCAP and ensure that they are being followed accordingly.

· Be responsible in process characterization and process optimization through DOE or design of experiment. Review results of process validation and report.

· Support R & D and equipment development and set-up for NPI (New Product Introduction).

· Review 8D/ MPE report root cause investigation, analysis, improvement actions implementation and verification of effectiveness.

· Act as engineering liaison with new product design and technical analysis to ensure processes and designs are compatible especially for new package development.

· Work with technical design engineers to develop new product, new machines, and new processes to include design for cost, design for manufacturability, and process yield for new substrate technology.

· Drive all related engineering projects to be on time, on budget, and meet the project goals.

· Ensure conformance of organization to processes and controls.

· Ensure a clean, safe, and healthy work environment for the organization.

· Comply with Vietnam law, Company regulations, RBA, EHS, CoBC, ISO, 5S, v.v.; and monitor, remind, help your employees/colleagues in compliance with Vietnam law, Company regulations, RBA, EHS, CoBC, ISO, 5S, v.v.

· Other duties as assigned.

· Promoting process line efficiency by utilizing data analysis tools to improve cycle time, optimize process time, and optimize wip.
