We’re building something exciting — a brand-new, state-of-the-art Power Electronics & Mechatronics Laboratory spanning over 600 m², and we’re looking for a hands-on, proactive Applications Technician to keep it running smoothly.

What You’ll Do:
- Set up and maintain the newly established power electronics and mechatronics lab, ensuring all systems and equipment are ready for action.
- Design and build custom fixtures and tooling to support engineering teams in prototyping, testing, and development.
- Operate and manage 3D printing equipment, turning digital designs into real-world components.
- Calibrate and maintain lab instruments to ensure precision and reliability in all measurements and tests.
- Implement and enforce EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) standards, creating a safe and compliant workspace for all users.
- Establish and continuously improve lab processes, documentation, and workflows to maximize efficiency and safety.
- Oversee general lab maintenance, including equipment servicing, cleanliness, and organization.
- Manage procurement and inventory, ensuring timely ordering of tools, components, and consumables.
- Collaborate closely with engineers and project teams, providing technical support and contributing to innovative solutions.

What We’re Looking For:
- Education or 5+ years of experience in mechatronics, electronics, mechanical engineering, or a related technical field.
- A problem-solver with a hands-on approach and a passion for building and improving technical systems.
- Experience with lab equipment, 3D printing, and mechanical/electrical tooling.
- Familiarity with CAD software and mechanical design principles (e.g. Solidworks, FreeCAD).
- Solid understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, including troubleshooting and repair.
- Knowledge of EHS regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail — you keep things running like clockwork.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills — you’re someone engineers love to work with.
