We are excited to offer an opportunity to join our team as a Failure Analysis Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for performing detailed failure investigations and root cause analyses on discrete, analog, and power module products. Your work will support requests from customers (EFAR), Reliability teams, New Product Development, and Production.
You will utilize various analytical techniques such as electrical characterization, physical inspection, cross-sectioning, SEM/EDX analysis, and other advanced failure analysis tools to identify failure mechanisms and provide actionable insights. Your findings will contribute to product improvement, yield enhancement, and customer satisfaction.
This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate technical findings clearly through reports and presentations.

- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or other relevant engineering field.
- Experience in Failure Analysis process with 1-2 years of working experience is highly recommended/preferred.
- Fresh graduates with strong lab experience may also be considered).
- Hands-on experience with failure analysis tools and techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and reporting skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- This position requires the ability to work in shifts to support the lab's operational needs.
- Perform electrical and physical failure analysis on semiconductor devices and power modules.
- Use tools such as SEM/EDX, X-ray, curve tracer, optical microscopy, cross-sectioning, and chemical decapsulation.
- Document findings in detailed reports and present results to internal teams and customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Reliability, Product Development, and Manufacturing.
- Support customer returns and field failure investigations (EFAR).
- Drive continuous improvement in failure analysis methodologies and lab capabilities.
- Maintain lab equipment and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
