onsemi is seeking a self-driven and motivated Embedded Wireless Firmware Engineer to join our team in Waterloo, ON.
THIS IS A TEMPORARY ROLE for APPROXIMATELY 6 MONTHS
The Firmware Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and testing embedded firmware for various electronic devices including hearing aids. This role involves collaborating with hardware engineers and software developers to ensure seamless integration and functionality of firmware within products.

Education and Experience
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ and assembly language.
- Experience with embedded systems design and development.
- Strong understanding of hardware-software interaction and debugging tools.
- Familiarity with Bluetooth stack is an asset.
- Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and development environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 1 year of relevant experience
