Position Overview
The Analyst, Compensation & Benefits (Japan) position develops and manages compensation and benefits policies across Japan, collaborating with APAC and local HR teams. The role focuses on ensuring consistent application of reward strategies and compliance with local laws, requiring flexibility and attention to detail.
Key responsibilities include acting as an internal C&B expert supporting performance evaluations, launching new programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing salary and budget planning, conducting market analyses, and improving benefits programs.
The role reports to the APAC C&B COE and collaborates with Japan local HRs, peers in other APAC countries and regions as needed.
Objectives
The primary objective is to ensure that compensation and benefits policies and programs are executed consistently across Japanese sites, in compliance with local labor market conditions, Japanese labor laws, and the company’s reward strategy. Flexibility, initiative, and attention to detail are essential for success in this fast-paced environment.
