SWIR Vision Systems
Technician to sustain 300 fab AMHS (Automated Material Handling System) equipment with the primary responsibility of resolving AMHS equipment issues. This responsibility includes planned maintenance and repair of overhead hoist transport (OHT) systems, the linear induction motor (LIM), SRC300 & SRC330 & LIM vehicles, conveyor systems and FOUP, N2 purge, bare reticle and pod stockers. AMHS interaction with 300mm fab equipment such as E84 optical transducer installation & removal and troubleshooting delivery issues to other 300mm fab equipment. Other responsibilities will include maintenance and repair of other 300mm fab equipment with training provided and training of other Onsemi technicians in AMHS roles.
Technician positions are day and night shift positions working a compressed week of 12-hour shifts. Onsemi is a 24/7 manufacturing facility providing technician support across all shifts.

Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience with AMHS equipment/maintenance in a semiconductor manufacturing environment
Demonstrated ability to operate automated or computerized systems and MS office software
Ability to read and understand manuals, prints and operations specifications
Fluent in English Language – written & verbal
Physical Capacity Demands:
Ability to perform work on scaffolding and/or in a standing position for the majority of a 12-hour shift (excluding breaks)
Able to lift, pull, and/or carry a minimum of 40lb on a periodic basis throughout the shift.
Able to perform activities that include bending at waist, stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing ladders and reaching
Able to operate auto hoist/lifting equipment such as Genie Lifts and Mobile Elevating Work Platforms
Able to perform shift work in a 12-hour shift schedule, including working in a cleanroom environment per semi-conductor industry
Preferred Qualifications:
Working knowledge of Statistical Process Control methodologies & systems
Familiarity with Lean processes & activities and Kaizen teams
Demonstrated ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures to complete tasks and required documentation
Demonstrated work performance in an environment requiring a high level of attention to detail and timeliness
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize activities
Dedicated team player with ability to work well within a global team
Perform full preventive maintenance activities
React to error messages from factory systems and/or equipment
Knowledge of MACS for tracking, controls and monitoring of material movement and AMHS equipment status
Respond to down events and complete troubleshooting and repair
Process FOUPs and Reticle Pods using defined procedures
Review Statistical Process Control charts for process quality and react to Out-of-Control conditions including defect troubleshooting
Perform visual inspections (quality checks)
Recover from automation interruptions such as power dips or planned electrical outages
Support continuous improvement activities
Identify and address potential areas for improvement and optimize AMHS equipment uptime, delivery, and cost
Complete all required reporting and documentation
Understand and follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures and requirements
Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements, and programs
