- Candidate with HT/LV chargeman competent certificate A4/BO/B4 registered with Energy Commission of Malaysia.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience and familiar with facilities maintenance in particular semiconductor industry and cleanroom related.
- Good communication skills and able to converse with team, Integrity, Initiative and Respect.
- Able to write report in English or Bahasa Malaysia.
- Able to work on shift-12hrs routine / Clean Room Environment.
- Ability to provide flexible shift coverage as needed including weekends and public holidays to conduct factory shutdown maintenance works.
- Responsible for day-to-day inspections of all electrical systems (33/11 kV substation, switchgear, transformer, generator set, etc) in good operating condition to ensure stabile electrical supply for factory operation.
- Conduct all high voltage electrical maintenance work according to schedule, procedure and upkeep maintenance records to submit to Energy Commission of Malaysia as per Electricity Supply Act 1990.
- 24 X 7 coverage in response of factory power outage and any electrical incidents to recover factory operations in the fastest manner.
- Tracking energy consumption, conduct measurements and perform energy monitoring to ensure efficient use of energy, support energy cost saving initiatives
- Provide additional support to facilities shift coverage in the absence of shift personal due to prolonging medical leave and etc.
- To perform maintenance and troubleshooting of all electrical switchboards, A/C system, CDA-compressor system, vacuum, exhaust system, emergency supply generator system related to electrical tripping.
- To supervise contractor works related to electrical safety requirements, ensure logout tagout applications while carrying out all the electrical maintenance works.
- Conduct monitoring and tracking of daily meter reading and initiate preventive maintenance to minimize the breakdown and power failures.
- Responsible for standby generator, diesel fire pump weekly test run and maintain the records to meet local regulation requirement.
