The Equipment Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. This role supports production efficiency, safety compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives within the plant.

- Minimum Diploma in Electronics/Electrical/Mechatronics or equivalent and at least 3 years of experience in equipment maintenance or related field.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical circuits, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and manufacturing standards.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience with PLCs and automation systems.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or TPM principles.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Knowledge in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues and implement effective solutions.
- Support equipment installation, calibration, and upgrades.
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams to improve equipment reliability.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement projects.
