Job Summary:
onsemi is seeking a highly motivated Process Technician to work in the Final Test area for NPI team. The Final Test Technician supports New Product Introduction activities by performing final electrical and functional testing, preparing and handling samples, executing test procedures, and ensuring accurate data collection and documentation. This role is responsible for equipment setup, basic troubleshooting, maintaining test area readiness, and collaborating closely with engineers to ensure smooth execution of engineering builds, pilot runs, and product qualifications. The technician helps ensure product quality, reduces test bottlenecks, and supports successful transition from development to mass production.

Requirements:
- Experience: 2+ years of relevant experience
- Education: GED/high school plus relevant work experience or a 2-Year Technical/Associates Degree in Science, Math, Engineering, Semi-Conductor Manufacturing or a related discipline or equivalent military training/experience
- Language Fluency – English (Written & Verbal)
Preferred
- Familiarity with 5S, 8D, SPC, FMEA
Essential Responsibilities
- Perform final electrical and functional testing for NPI products according to established procedures.
- Set up, operate, and maintain test equipment to support engineering builds and pilot runs.
- Carry out sample preparation, data recording, and documentation with accuracy and completeness.
- Assist engineers with troubleshooting test failures, equipment issues, and process deviations.
- Ensure test stations, tools, and fixtures are properly maintained, calibrated, and production‑ready.
- Support improvement activities to enhance test efficiency, cycle time, and test coverage.
