Staff Product engineer for Power MOSFET Division for New Product Development

Position Requirements

  • BSEE / BSECE, at least 6-8 years of Device/Product or Test engineering experience in a semiconductor environment.
  • At least 5 years of semiconductor new products development procedure and execution management experience.
  • Experience in semiconductor processes (silicon fabrication/probe testing/assembly/final testing)
  • Familiar with power devices operations and applications.
  • Proven track record of effective team leadership, problem solving and good engineering judgment.
  • Good verbal and written communications skills.
  • Strong knowledge of statistical data analysis and problem-solving tools.
  • Strong skills for interpersonal relations, negotiation, including collaboration and coordination with global cross functional teams.
  • Ability to multitask & self-driven to produce results in a timely fashion with strong sense of urgency.

Candidate responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead new product development and new package development projects for MOSFET, SiC, GaN and GaN Driver
  • Collaborate with Test Engineering and Manufacturing Test Engineering teams to support new product development and ensure smooth ramp-up to mass production.
  • Facilitate and coordinate design, process, assembly, test and releasing of the product to market
  • Work closely with design, test, device engineers in varied locations in a team environment
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with all stakeholders for effective problem solving and completion of product development in a timely manner
  • Establish comprehensive test coverage to eliminate test escapes and guarantee product quality.
  • Perform product characterization, analyze data, and deliver clear, actionable reports.
  • Generate and maintain project documents such as product data sheets, test specifications, Engineering build requests, reliability test allocation, test related reports, project documents and support for other manufacturing related documentations.
  • Agile management for Project documentation
  • Project Management of time and cost sensitive projects as well as special projects
  • Prepare and present status updates, gate reviews of critical projects to the Project Review Board
