OnSemi is seeking a Sr Digital Design Engineer, NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT, Power Management, to join our growing team in Bengaluru, India. This group is responsible for development of Power management products including DC-DC PMIC/POL, Multiphase controllers, Dr. MOS, AC-DC converters, LED drivers, SiC drivers, Switches and efuses for consumer, industrial and automotive applications.

Qualification

BE in Electrical Engineering or related + 6 years of experience, or MS + 4 years of experience in RTL design/development

  • Proficiency in RTL development flow
  • Hands-on expertise in RTL coding of medium to complex logic blocks
  • Experience in platform-based development is an advantage
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PERL, TCL, Python
  • Excellent communication skills with a collaborative and team-oriented mindset

Ability to quickly ramp on new systems and processes


In this role, you will focus on the following

  • Define and implement key digital blocks to enable platform based design
  • Deploy and pipe-clean platform automation framework
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless integration within the overall platform
  • Employ scripting languages (PERL, TCL, Python) for automation of collateral development
  • Contribute to the overall success of the team by actively participating in debugging sessions, providing valuable insights, and maintaining effective communication within the team.
