The MTS Product Engineer will be responsible for driving New Product releases to high volume manufacturing at the lowest cost and highest quality. This role will also be critical in shaping the production release and ramp infrastructure by implementing, monitoring, and driving processes, standards, and requirements, designed to achieve entitlement in cost and quality.

- A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, or relevant field of study
- Strong fab process, assembly, and test knowledge across digital, analog, and mixed signal technologies.
- Ideal candidate should possess good understanding and knowledge of semiconductor image sensors.

Primary responsibilities will include owning achievable entitlement cost estimates from product inception (DC Gate) to new product release (FSP):
- Responsibility for cost estimates and identifying targeted cost reduction activities of new products at internal phase gates collaborating with PE managers and product teams
- Responsibility to drive process and execution improvement strategies across all product families.
- Drive the identification of aggressive cost reduction activities such as test time reduction, flow optimizations, reticle layer mask reductions, and yield improvement activities, early in development and product life cycle.
- Owner of Entitlement Cost tracking, metrics, and targets for NPD portfolio.
- Interface with factories (FABs, Assembly Sites, Test Sites), to drive operational cost improvements positively impacting throughput, capacity, cost, and quality.
Identify / document gaps, best practices, and lessons learned and feedback to Design, DfT, and PE NPDE teams, to drive better cost execution across future products.
