Job Summary:
onsemi is seeking a highly motivated Engineer to lead and support qualification activities for alternate suppliers of leadframes and clipframes, including conversions from etched to stamped option. This role is critical to driving cost savings projects and supporting the site's growth and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Materials, Mechanical, Electronics, or related field).
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; relevant experience in semiconductor manufacturing or materials engineering is a plus.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab, PowerPoint, Word, MS Project) is an advantage.
- Knowledge of qualification protocols and supplier management is desirable.
- Handles multiple projects and priorities.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced engineering and manufacturing environment.
- Must be able to work independently with limited supervision.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute qualification projects for alternate leadframe and clipframe suppliers.
- Drive conversion initiatives from etched to stamped leadframe options.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities across Engineering, Quality, Procurement, and Supplier Management teams.
- Facilitate and manage Technical Data Reviews (TDRs) and ensure timely communication with suppliers.
- Support data gathering, analysis, and report generation for qualification and conversion activities.
- Present project updates and qualification status in Manufacturing CAB meetings.
- Track and report progress against project milestones and cost savings targets.
- Identify and implement opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization.
