onsemi is seeking a Manufacturing Equipment Engineer - Photo in Gresham, OR. As an Equipment Maintenance Engineer at onsemi’s premier 200mm manufacturing facility, You will work in a dynamic team environment, maintaining a fleet of semiconductor manufacturing equipment within the Photo Lithography process area. The candidate will work primarily as the tool owner for the TEL Act8 and DNS 200W Tracks and serve as the backup engineer supporting ASML PAS5500 scanners and Nikon i14 Steppers. You will have the opportunity to lead and participate in a variety of high-profile projects, including tooling conversions, new tool installs, and equipment upgrade projects. Project execution and performance will directly impact the company’s strategic plan to optimize capacity and factory performance.

Preferred:
- Semiconductor experience preferred.
- Knowledge of the Photo Lithography area, including general process theory and equipment mechanics.
- Project Management experience.
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and manufacturing principles.
- Experience in training and leading maintenance technicians.
Area Equipment:
- Photo: TEL Act8 Tracks, DNS 200W Tracks, DNS 80 (A/B/EX) Scrubbers, ASML PAS5500 (400/700/1150) Scanners, Nikon i14 Steppers.
Other responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain current records on equipment manufacturers’ technical notices, upgrades, and safety issues.
- Study equipment performance and reliability, and execute projects to increase the overall stability of the performance of the tools.
- Establish programs and solutions for increasing tool uptime/reliability and improving product quality.
- Provide hands-on technical and maintenance support when necessary.
- Define and write preventative maintenance schedules, best-known methods, and other maintenance procedures.
- Drive, maintain, and support continual improvement projects, including Overall Equipment Effectiveness teams, part sourcing, and in-house repair.
- May provide leadership by mentoring and training maintenance technicians.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or robotics Engineering.
- 7 plus years of experience TEL Act8 Tracks, DNS 200W Tracks, DNS 80 (A/B/EX) Scrubbers, ASML PAS5500 (400/700/1150) Scanners, Nikon i14 Steppers.
- Must possess good interpersonal, teamwork, leadership, and communication skills.
- Practical knowledge of electronic and mechanical systems and controls.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
