- Engineering Technology graduate or equivalent
- Ability to enter data into computer.
- Computer literate in both Excel and Word.
- Excellent math skills.
- Good verbal and writing skills.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills to successfully complete a wide variety of complex job duties and responsibilities in a timely manner.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to resolve complex problems in a timely manner.
- Good communication skills to properly communicate complex information to peers and members of the management team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide range of maintenance duties on various types of industrial and manufacturing support equipment including but not limited to heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, cooling, air handling and exhaust, waste treatment, boilers, ultra-pure water systems, chemical and gas dispense, vacuum systems and building structures.
- Routinely monitor the Facilities equipment via computer terminals and daily maintenance rounds. Identify and respond to issues. Adjust as needed to maintain optimal performance.
- Perform a variety of pipe installations and repairs on steel, plastic, and copper pipe.
- Perform repairs and installations requiring cutting, fitting and assembly of metal and plastic parts and components.
- Perform maintenance and repair on mechanical systems such as motors, pumps, fans, and gearboxes.
- Work from verbal or written instructions, drawings, schematics, or sketches.
- Successfully complete HAZMAT training and serve as a member of the HAZMAT team.
- Always comply with company protocols and safety requirements.
- Obtain and maintain all required skill certifications.
- Use quality techniques in performance of assigned tasks
- Maintain equipment and working areas in a clean, orderly condition.
- Occasionally work at heights greater than six feet with appropriate fall protection and perform tasks in confined spaces.
- Perform other projects, tasks, and duties necessary to support site and corporate operations.
