Job Summary:
Lead end-to-end NPI execution ensuring first-time-right builds and safe launch. Implementation of improvement initiatives to ensure no deviations and close-loop systems. The role oversees NPI engineers and technicians, manages cross‑functional alignment (Planning, PE, IE, QA, Test, Materials, Supply Chain), ensures safe launch compliance, and delivers yield, cycle time, and cost targets during early builds.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electronics, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related).
- Minimum 8–10 years experience in semiconductor or electronics manufacturing.
- At least 3 years in leadership roles handling NPI, PE, ME, or technical engineering teams.
- Experience in qualification runs, PPAP, safe launch, material conversion, or yield improvement is a plus.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong understanding of semiconductor assembly processes (Die Prep, Die Attach, WB, Molding, Trim/Form, Test).
- Knowledge in DOE, SPC, FMEA, Control Plan, and 8D problem solving.
- Experience with NPI readiness, qualification requirements, Cpk capability, risk analysis, and safe launch.
- Proficient in data analysis tools (Minitab, JMP, Excel).
- Familiar with product documentation: Build Sheets, BCR/EBR, flow changes, specs.
- Purpose-driven leadership aligned with onsemi DNA traits.
- Strong project and time-management skills.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Effective communicator with concise reporting and executive presence.
- Relentless in driving results and resolving issues quickly.
- Drive NPI execution, readiness, builds, and MP handover.
- Deliver KPIs: OTS/OTC, Safe Launch Yield, Engg Cycle Time, EBR hit rate, Rel first pass hit rate
- Lead issue containment and yield improvement.
- Facilitate daily/weekly cross‑functional NPI meetings to track risks and remove roadblocks.
- Lead, coach, and develop NPI Engineers and NPI Technicians to strengthen technical and leadership competencies
- Strengthen cross-functional collaboration.
- Ensure QMS/IATF/PPAP compliance and documentation.
