ON Semiconductor is seeking a self-driven and motivated professional to join the External Manufacturing & Global Sourcing team, located in Bucheon, South Korea. As a Technical Program Strategic Sourcing Manager, you will have the opportunity to work with internal product and operations teams, as well as externally with a broad supply base supporting the semiconductor fabs across the globle. Minimum Qualifications
- BS degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business with 5-7 years relevant work experience; or,
- MS degree with 3-5 years relevant experience.
- Must be fluent in spoken and written English and Korean.
- Must be willing to travel internationally up to 10%.
- Proven track record of being able to manage multiple requirements simultaneously and to prioritize key actions toward business objectives.
- Familiarity with semiconductor industry and activities related to sourcing, procurement, and supply chain.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Candidates with 3-5 years of experience from the semiconductor industry with a focus on sourcing/ERP systems are preferred.
- Deep expertise in Procurement operations covering sourcing along with deep system knowledge, preferably on Oracle based systems.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to:
- Supplier Management: own the commercial interface and supplier negotiation with key component suppliers.
- Business Unit: support commercial needs of business units for front-end strategic sourcing.
- Operations: lead a cross functional team on the execution of technical & sourcing initiatives.
- Develop and manage strategic partnerships with key suppliers.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering and Finance teams in pursuit of fab/site objectives.
