Job Summary:

Provide leadership for the strategic financial positioning and support. Partner with Manufacturing and Support groups in maximizing growth opportunities and minimizing site operational burden management of company resources and expenditures and the timely reporting of relevant financial information used in decision-making to serve the interest of the Company and the entire onsemi Corporation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy

  • Proven working experience as a Financial Controller

  • Over 10 years of overall combined accounting and finance experience

  • Proven track record in semiconductor / electronics manufacturing

  • CPA / CMA or MBA will be advantageous

  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures

  • Experience with creating financial statements

  • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process

  • Proficiency with ERP systems

  • Excellent MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

  • Fluent English communication skills.

Responsibilities


  • Manage all accounting operations including GL, Cost Analysis, Inventory Accounting and Payroll

  • Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and variance reporting

  • Prepare and process financial data for management decision making

  • Partner with Operations Team and Senior Management in driving aggressive cost savings to meet the targets and goals.

  • Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements with clarity and precision

  • Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting

  • Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes

  • Mentor and develop the site Finance team

  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

  • Research technical accounting issues for compliance

  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and reporting

  • Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings

  • Additional Finance Controller duties as necessary
