- BS in Engineering or related field plus 3 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven experience in facilities engineering, operations, or maintenance leadership.
- Strong technical knowledge of building systems and utilities.
- Fluent in English (written & verbal).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing environments.
- Project management expertise and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrated success in change management and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Salary: onsemi is excited to share the base salary range for this position is $110,700 to $188,100 exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. The final pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, education, experience, and/or consideration of internal equity of our current team members. Responsible For all aspects of shift operations, including technician and operator staff
- Ensure Safety Procedures are in place and followed with every activity. This includes generating PTP’s as needed when n procedure exists. A
- Ownership of Shift Operational Performance, including understanding daily gaps and implementing actions to improve including:
- Training and Certification
- Ownership of daily tactical decisions to optimize daily operational performance.
- Lead shift pass downs including documentation and effective crossover for all sectors and rolls. Full ownership of the crossover includes implementing standards and Continuous improvement
- Drive actions and escalation for extended downs and Parts issues
- Resource Planning – ensure staffing plan and vacation meets requirements to run the shift and provide coverage for all areas
- Audit compliance, including Documentation, OCAPs, for all tool procedures and product actions
- Perform routing 5S walks and ensure assigned areas are compliant, including all tool work
- OWN Continuous improvement actions within shift, but also drive actions across team and shifts, including stakeholder buy in
- Lead active problem solving on the floor
- Safety and compliance: Ensure all safety standards and company policies are followed, participate in safety training, and maintain a safe working environment.
- Production and operations: Oversee daily operations, monitor production data, and manage production flow to achieve DGR
- Team leadership: Supervise, mentor, and develop employees, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and managing schedules and timekeeping. Ensure training goals are defined and met.
- Technical and quality oversight: Provide guidance on production and engineering issues, ensure adherence to quality standards, and support root cause analysis for quality events.
- Communication and coordination: Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, coordinate with cross-functional teams like facilities and other modules. Ensure effective crossovers at the start and end of the shift.
- Continuous improvement: Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives, analyze bottlenecks, and implement solutions
