Job Summary:

onsemi is seeking a self-driven and motivated professional to join ISG Technology group - analog design team.
As a Sr. analog design engineer, you will have the opportunity to be a part of a team, leading imaging projects and supporting onsemi ISG most advanced technologies.
you will participate in a broad range of design activities in a highly dynamic working environment, covering all product life cycle - from Idea to design, Silicon validation and product integration.

Performance Objectives

  • Lead the design of advanced analog and mixed‑signal circuits for next‑generation sensing technologies, including:
    • CMOS image sensors.
    • Time‑of‑flight (ToF) systems.
    • SWIR and other non‑visible‑spectrum imagers.
    • Novel or exotic sensor architectures.
  • Own critical analog blocks such as:
    • Low‑noise front‑ends and charge‑domain circuits.
    • High‑speed ADCs (SAR, pipeline, custom architectures).
    • Precision bias/reference circuits.
    • High‑bandwidth readout chains.
    • Pixel‑level analog circuitry tailored to specialized sensing modalities.

Requirements:

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (Ph.D. a plus).
  • 5 years of experience in analog/mixed‑signal IC design.
  • Proven track record of delivering successful silicon in production or advanced prototypes.
  • Deep understanding of analog fundamentals: noise, matching, linearity, stability, device physics.
  • Strong experience with Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, and advanced simulation methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to debug silicon and correlate measurements with simulations.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with image sensors, ToF systems, SWIR imagers, or other advanced sensing technologies.
  • Expertise in low‑noise design, high‑speed ADCs, or precision analog circuits.
  • Familiarity with semiconductor process variation, reliability, and yield optimization.
  • Hands‑on lab experience with characterization equipment.
  • Experience leading technical projects or mentoring engineers.

  1. Perform transistor‑level design, simulation, optimization, and corner/Monte‑Carlo analysis.
  2. Collaborate closely with pixel, digital, process, and system engineering teams to co‑optimize performance.
  3. Lead silicon bring‑up, debug, and characterization; analyze lab data and drive design improvements.
  4. Contribute to architecture discussions and long‑term technology roadmaps.
  5. Mentor junior engineers and strengthen design methodologies across the group.
