Staff Product Engineer
This position offers a great opportunity to work on industry leading semiconductor devices, targeted for broad applications in Automotive and Industrial markets. In this role, you will be a member of AMG PE team, tasked with supporting the product lines and the business across new product development, reliability qualification, ramp, sustaining up to product end of life.
You will be involved in various PE projects such as, but not limited to, product process improvements, root cause investigations, driving cost reductions, PE tools & systems development, generating relevant product reports providing recommendations. Familiarity with data analysis tools, ATE platforms, and manufacturing quality metrics is required, along with the ability to extract large volumes of test data, perform analysis, and develop PE process automations using Python and SQL. Familiarity with VB or other legacy automation languages is a plus.
You will also work closely with AMG product engineers building effective solutions for PE product data analysis. Must also be proficient in building comprehensive reports and presentations for cross-functional teams and management views to drive critical decisions to support the product lines and business P&Ls.

Requirements:
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or relevant field; MS preferred.
- 10 plus years of experience in semiconductor Product Engineering, Test Engineering, Yield Enhancement, or Data Analytics.
- Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis and automation.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools like Exensio/Spotfire, JMP/Minitab is a plus.
- Advanced skills in Excel, Office 365 apps, Tableau/Power BI, Jira, Confluence.
- Understanding of IC manufacturing processes and experience with ATE platforms is advantageous.
- Proven ability to lead complex root cause investigations to closure
- Strong balance of hands-on technical depth and system level thinking.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a global team environment with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
Primary responsibilities will include:
- Own product entitlement goals, cost reductions, and other engineering engagements for NPD, product qual, ramp, sustaining and quality support across multiple businesses and product lines.
- Lead analysis of large-scale production test and parametric data to drive yield, coverage, and cost improvements
- Automate PE tools, extract product data, transform, and generate statistical analysis, reports, and dashboards for cross-functional teams.
- Investigate root causes of failures and provide technical recommendations for manufacturing and quality issues.
- Streamline PE processes, including characterizations, Gage R&R, correlations, and reliability qualifications.
- Document procedures and guidelines to support standardization and automation.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the organization by the adoption of best practices and improved processes.
