- Bachelor or higher in Electrical Engineering or related field with emphasis on device physics, circuits and/or applications for protection devices.
- Expertise in characterization, handling lab equipment, testbench and Labview for automation
- Strong knowledge of EDA tools including PCB designs
- Prefer in depth knowledgeable in the reliability requirements, design for EMI/EMC, ESD, design for testability, automotive system expertise and application circuit.
- Hands on experience in ESD development and applications is a plus.
- Self-driven with the motivation and initiative and ability to effectively work with both the customers marketing and engineering teams.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to:
- Support of new product release with characterization, bench verification of application functions, and debug of device related issues for ESD, TVS and Small Signal products.
- Establish strong relationship with process fabs to review datasheet specifications, define appropriate critical test parameters for devices and perform SPICE simulations to verify applications
- Perform design, fabrication, and debug of board designs used during product validation or customer debug. This includes schematic generation, component selection, and PCB layout review.
- Understand new product technical requirements, validate device characteristics, and develop test solutions for high volume manufacturing including analyzing test results and generate supporting documentation.
- Collaborate with product, design, marketing and application to root-cause product issues, identify opportunities for resolution, improve measurement techniques that enhance tester capabilities to support new product designs.
- Support product specific demo’s and evaluation kits for targeted application, automate test benches, review and define specific tests for new products in development
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills. Possess initiative and motivation to effectively work with customers marketing and engineering teams.
