• Education Graduate in Engineering, Supply Chain or related discipline.
• Experience Minimum of 3 years working experience in Supplier Quality Engineering or equivalent in semiconductor high volume manufacturing environment.
• Skills Preferably with TS16949/IATF16949/VDA 6.3 certified Lead Auditor.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics & drawings.
• Preferably with knowledge of various quality system methodologies 8D, Lean, 5 Why’s, Pareto Analysis, Six Sigma, 8-D, PFEMA, etc.
• Hands-on experience on Power BI, Microsoft List, Power Automate, Tableau.
• Good working knowledge on the application of AI tools
- Responsible for all critical direct materials like lead-frames, tape and reel materials, mold compound, ceramic DBC, wire, solder paste and etc.
- Supervises incoming QA on first article buyoff, incoming materials inspection per sampling plan, IQC MRB.
- Works to resolve supplier technical issues in a timely manner to ensure continuity of supply.
- Initiate and drive Supplier to ensure effective corrective / preventative actions are implemented to resolve supplier quality issues.
- Conduct supplier audits to drive process standardization, waste elimination, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor, communicate and improve supplier Quality Performance as well as establishing specific short / long term supplier quality goals.
- Drive “Zero Defect” mentality within the supply base.
- Communicate engineering and manufacturing specifications to supplier technical teams.
- Management of quarterly Supplier Performance Scorecard, Supplier Audit, Supplier QMS Development and Global SQE KPI monitoring
- Initiates and implement continuous improvement projects for SQE processes.
