Job Description
This position offers a great opportunity to work with industry leading semiconductor devices, targeted for broad applications in Automotive and Industrial markets.
In this role, you will be part of Product Characterization test team, tasked with supporting product engineering team for new product development release and manufacturing sustaining validation.
Activities include developing low-cost test solutions for Discrete & Modules on Automated Test Equipment (ATE) platforms and bench.
Product technologies include Silicon, SiC, GaN in various packages with multi dies/ pins in a package in-line with business goals and product growth.
Knowledge and experience with software development across C/C++, Python, Java is necessary.
Candidate should know ATE platform architecture and programming languages to develop low level ATE code for testing.
Electronics instrument knowledge is necessary.

Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Electrical & Electronic or equivalent >7 yrs of experience working Product / Test in Semiconductor.
Familiar with testing on automated testers (ATEs), custom, “rack and stack” computer controlled systems, and bench setups.
Proficient in multiple ATE platforms & software coding languages including but not limited to C/C++, Python, Java.
ATE platforms primarily including TESEC spektra, STI, CREA & ETS88.
Competent with the use of standard electronic test equipment: multimeters, oscilloscopes, curve tracers, pulse generators, etc.
Highly desired programming skills are Labview Development, PCB design software such as Altium Designer, PADS & KiCAD.
Capable of component level troubleshooting of all test system failures
Thorough understanding of discrete semiconductor parameters
Excellent interpersonal skills – energetic, motivated, and self-driven.
Demonstrate ability to work well within a global team environment with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities will include:
Responsible for the testing and evaluation of discrete and module semiconductor devices.
Design and modification of the test systems and fixturing as well as creating and modifying software for the test systems.
Own testing activities such as ATE Test Plan generation, HW design, test program development, new test platform development and bench test development for device characterization fastest time-to-market.
Must be able to update / modify existing code with innovation and improvisation focused on efficiency and accuracy
Interaction with colleagues and customers (both internal and external) in the sense of:
• Design test setups and fixturing required for the devices.
• Set up the appropriate test equipment or station to test the devices including writing software to control the test setup.
• Test devices and verify the quality and accuracy of the data.
• Supervise technicians/specialist performing various tasks assigned
Own, execute, and monitor programs/projects from initiation through delivery and interfacing with across sites or department personnel up to closure of projects.
Provide technical leadership and solutions to day to day testing technical issues and performance
Supporting team to improve productivity, cycle time & quality through process, equipment and system upgrades.
