Responsibilities
- Lead the design, coding, and deployment of automation solutions, including equipment interface drivers and laboratory automation to reduce manual work.
- Collaborate with other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of automation systems across manufacturing and lab environments.
- Drive process optimization, yield improvement, and equipment reliability through automation initiatives.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership in automation projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and industry standards.
- Troubleshoot complex automation issues and implement long-term corrective actions.

Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or related field.
- Professional certifications in automation systems or semiconductor manufacturing are a plus.
- Minimum 10-15 years of hands-on experience in automation engineering, with strong exposure to the semiconductor or electronics manufacturing industry.
- Proven track record in designing, implementing, and optimizing automation systems for high-volume production environments.
- Direct involvement in equipment integration, driver development, and interface coding.
- Experience in automating laboratory workflows and reducing manual processes.
Technical Skills
- Hands-on coding experience in developing and maintaining equipment interface drivers.
- Proficiency in C#, Python, and basic scripting languages.
- Expertise in PLC programming, SCADA systems, and industrial control software.
- Familiarity with SECS/GEM, OPC-UA, or other industry-standard communication protocols.
- Experience with MES/EAS integration and manufacturing data flow.
- Knowledge of robotics, motion control, and machine vision systems.
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts for predictive maintenance and process optimization.
Added Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks, Inventor, or AutoCAD).
- Experience in motion systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical assembly.
- Familiar with PLCs, robotics, vision systems, and automation interfaces.
Advantages: Python, data analytics, Power BI, and IoT integration for IR4.0 projects.
