Qualifications Required:
- Current opening is on the E shift, but might change based on business needs
- Bachelor's degree required; or actively working towards a degree, equivalent experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
- 2+ years related experience
- Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Must possess good interpersonal, teamwork, leadership, and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to analyze and assess situations and make effective decisions
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and maintain team effectiveness.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Maintain a high degree of manufacturing floor presence
- Effectively interface with customers, manufacturing specialists, managers, maintenance, process, and device engineering to understand and resolve line issues
- Drive area performance by implementing systematic solutions
- Lead a team of operators to meet factory goals while demonstrating onsemi ' s core values
- Maintain and review applicable systems and reporting mechanisms to measure and report against factory success metrics
- Manage the quality of products through full compliance with process specifications and routine inspections
- Effectively manage performance and attendance issues to drive high productivity
- Create 8Ds when required for issues created during the shift
- Manage hold lots to minimum levels, ensuring consistent follow-up and follow-through of lot dispositions
- Collaborate with planning for a daily loading plan aligned with capacity availability
- Resolve technical issues utilizing available technical resources, and escalate issues as necessary
