- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related Engineering field.
- Experience in manufacturing, production engineering, or equipment management (preferred).
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, or mechatronics systems.
- Knowledge of PLCs, sensors, motors, and automation systems (varies by industry).
- Experience with tools such as FMEA, SPC, and root-cause analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and cross-functional teamwork.
- Ability to handle fast-paced production environments.
- Perform root-cause analysis and diagnose equipment failures or recurring issues.
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance plans.
- Track equipment downtime, MTBF, MTTR, and identify improvement opportunities.
- Lead or support installation, setup, and commissioning of new manufacturing equipment.
- Ensure equipment meets process requirements, safety standards, and production targets.
- Analyze equipment performance data and drive optimization to improve cycle time, yield, and throughput.
- Implement engineering solutions to reduce scrap, defects, and non-value-added activities.
- Ensure all equipment complies with internal safety guidelines and regulatory standards.
- Participate in safety incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
- Develop equipment SOPs, maintenance procedures, and engineering documentation.
- Train maintenance technicians and operators on equipment operation and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams on daily operations.
