As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will have the opportunity to provide strategic marketing support for the business unit and identify opportunities to accelerate growth within the motor control market segment. We are looking for an experienced, technical leader who is passionate about being a part of a strong team and winning in the market place. Key responsibilities of this role will be:
- Manage and drive the Business Unit’s motor control product strategy
- Define strategic motor control product lines and roadmaps for the business unit as well as go-to-market strategies for new and existing products
- Provide product trainings to sales and distribution teams
- Coordinate with corporate marketing and communications teams for product launches and promotion
- Ability and willingness to lead collaboration with internal development teams and customer

- Research, understand, and communicate the needs and requirements for targeted market segments and customers
- Communicate, train, and update the sales force on strategy, products, and product roadmaps
- Assist sales staff in assessing potential applications and customers for products to meet customer needs
- Assess market penetration and product positioning to drive competitive advantage, revenues and market share
- Organize, coordinate, and prepare technical product and application trainings for customers
- Identify, evaluate and recommend marcom activities consistent with BU / Sales strategy for successful product introduction
- Lead and coordinate efforts to provide technical product collateral materials, apps notes, technical articles, etc.
- Help develop & monitor the motor control business plan and marketing strategy for product lines.
- Bachelor of Science Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 8+ years in a technical marketing role or equivalent
- Experience in and familiarity with motor control markets and customers
- MBA or graduate degree in related area is a plus
Please expect travel to be approximately 25%. Occasional travel to Europe, South America, Asia will be required. Travel to other locations in the USA will also be required.
- Define strategic industrial product lines and product roadmaps for the business unit as well as go-to-market strategies for new and existing products
- Identify enabling IP, external partnerships or capabilities that accelerate growth
- Ensure strategic alignment of product roadmaps and market strategies
- Assist in the annual business planning process including alignment of market data, product line strategies, and overall quality of the business plans
- Develop and maintain close relationships with strategic and key customers
- Provide pricing and delivery conditions to customers
- Contribute articles and create marketing collateral to promote products at launch
