Requirements:
- Recommended: BS in Engineering with 5+ years of experience in Si manufacturing, Si device failure analysis, device engineering, and/or process engineering.
- Must have leadership experience working with management and technical engineering teams for problem-solving.
- Must have excellent communication and negotiation skills in customer relations.
As a Quality Engineer working for the Gresham manufacturing facility, you will
- Act as the fab liaison between customers, corporate customer quality, test, and design engineering.
- Maintain metrics for customer return performance specific to the Gresham fab.
- Work with onsemi corporate quality and failure analysis to ensure classifications for customer returns are correct and that corrective actions are appropriate to the device failure problem.
- Work with manufacturing to support technical improvements made to address device failure modes.
Performance Objectives:
- Develop site improvement plans for customer return metrics going forward
- Create and track performance to schedule for site improvements.
- Manage and report KPIs to the Quality team weekly.
- Manage and report KPIs to upper management monthly.
