Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science Electrical Engineering
- 15+ years in an applications engineering role
- 8+ years in application engineering management
- Proven success in product development, software, applications support and business development
- MCU experience
- Strong project management skills
- Proven success in leading cross-functional teams
- Ability to metabolize a large portfolio.
- Broad skillset including PCB level, hardware design and software engineering.
- willingness to travel - 20%
- Self-esteem, self-motivated with initiative and ability to work in a global team environment.
- Ability to manage and motivate cross functional teams without direct report responsibility.
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Objectives
- Drive the integrate multiple onsemi technologies into complete systems.
- Manage the development of schematics and layouts for reference designs and customer specific solutions.
- Create documentation and collateral such as application notes, white papers user manuals and datasheets.
- Support strategic marketing with reference designs/schematics/documentation for customers.
- Support strategic marketing with competitive analysis.
- Support strategic marketing with roadmaps and new product ideas.
