onsemi is seeking a self-driven and motivated professional to join the Production Planning team. This aims to provide executable production schedule that aligns demand and supply. The Production Planner/ scheduler must also have deep understanding of factory capacity, routes, BOMs in order to effectively schedule loading. Production Planner/ Scheduler acts as the central/ key figure in mapping out planning and execution end to end. This role is an individual contributor role, able to work in a challenging environment that provides growth opportunities.

Execute to production plans from global master planning system in reference to declared capacity and establish priority of schedules.

Monitors actual starts vs. plan and actual output vs. target.

Handles urgent deliveries and all issues that will hamper commitment to customer.

Communicates with operations, production control clerks, shipping, other support departments and tactical planners pertinent information to minimize delinquency and maximize on-time delivery to customers.

Generate and maintain periodic reports and upload in planning website for management use.

Proactively identify exceptions and resolve problems that are anticipated to affect on time delivery to the customer order.

Has responsibility to be the communication channel between manufacturing and SCA/CSR in issues related to customer requirement.

Generates/updates related specifications/documents on a timely and/or regular basis.
