onsemi is seeking a self-driven and motivated professional to join the Materials Planning team. This aims to provide continuous supply of materials to support the customer requirements in a fast paced setting, while maintaining a reasonable inventory cost. In addition to Materials Planner responsibilities, this is responsible for ensuring support to productivity improvement projects and NPI. This will interface across all levels in the organization just to send the message across. This role is an individual contributor role, able to work in a challenging environment that provides growth opportunities.

§Preferably a graduate of BS in Industrial Engg or related field
§With 2-3 yrs experience in Supply Chain Planning (Materials/ Prodn)
§Goal oriented and able to work on a fast paced environment
§With good communication skills and can work along with cross functional teams
§Good Problem Solving skills and critical thinking
§With good presentation skills
§Proficiency in Programming skills an advantage (macro, visual basics, advanced excel, ms access, database management)

Oversees activities related to the purchase of material, material control, and inventory control.

Develops, implements, and maintains policies, procedures, and material control systems.

Ensures materials are ordered and in stock to fulfill demand, while maintaining optimum inventory levels.

Develops material schedules and coordinates the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, logistics, production planning, manufacturing and engineering.

Reviews and plans requirements for material procurement.

Prepare material requirement plans using MRP system.

Continuously develop and present productivity improvement projects to support Cost Savings & Delivery KPIs.

Handles other responsibility as deemed necessary by the supervisor.
