Job Summary:

onsemi is seeking an energetic, highly organized individual in Industrial Engineer position for the following tasks.

  • Performs and evaluates work measurement and workflow analysis for the establishment of standards and the utilization of production facilities.
  • Develops capacity plans, workflow and accident prevention measures to maintain efficient and safe utilization of plant facilities.
  • Provides product assembly instructions and standardizes assembly practices.
  • Evaluates new techniques and technological developments for inclusion in the production process.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Process Improvement & Optimization
  • Analyze current workflows and production processes to identify inefficiencies.
  • Develop and implement process improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, and other industrial engineering methodologies.
  • Data Analysis & Performance Monitoring
  • Conduct time studies, capacity analyses, and productivity assessments.
  • Track KPIs such as throughput, cycle time, downtime, and resource utilization.
  • Present findings and recommendations through reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
  • Project Management
  • Lead or participate in improvement projects focused on quality, cost reduction, and operational efficiency.
  • Manage timelines, deliverables, and cross-department communication.
  • Cost & Resource Optimization
  • Develop cost‑benefit analyses for improvement proposals.
  • Optimize labor allocation, equipment utilization, and materials flow.
