Job Summary:
The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for leading end‑to‑end manufacturing operations for CBSM and PPD, covering Assembly through Test. This role ensures high‑volume production is delivered efficiently, meeting all manufacturing KPIs, cost targets, and the highest quality standards. The position plays a critical role in driving revenue growth for SBN and onsemi, especially with the planned capacity and volume expansion of SO8FL lines.

Requirements:
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field)
- Master’s Degree is an added advantage
- Minimum 10–12 years of manufacturing experience in a semiconductor or high‑volume manufacturing environment
- Proven experience managing Assembly and Test operations
- Strong exposure to high‑volume and high‑GM products
- Demonstrated success in capacity expansion and production ramp‑up
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong manufacturing leadership with proven ability to manage high‑volume Assembly and Test operations
- Deep understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, equipment, and yield management
- Data‑driven decision making with strong ownership of manufacturing KPIs
- Proven continuous improvement and structured problem‑solving capability
- Strong stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration skills
- Working knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and data analytics applications in manufacturing, with the ability to leverage AI‑driven insights for yield improvement, process optimization, predictive maintenance, and capacity planning
Responsibilities
Manufacturing Operations Leadership
- Oversee daily manufacturing operations across Assembly and Test to ensure safe, stable, and efficient production execution
- Lead CBSM manufacturing operations, a fully loaded, high‑volume department supporting high‑GM packages such as SO8FL and SO8 DS
- Ensure production output meets volume, cycle time, yield, cost, and quality KPIs
Capacity & Volume Ramp‑Up
- Drive capacity expansion and line ramp‑up for SO8FL to support increasing demand and revenue growth
- Ensure readiness of manpower, equipment, process capability, and materials for volume increase
- Partner with Industrial Engineering and Planning teams to optimize line loading and throughput
Continuous Improvement & Cost Efficiency
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and structured problem‑solving methodologies
- Drive productivity improvement, scrap reduction, cycle time reduction, and cost optimization
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for operational gaps
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure compliance to quality systems, customer requirements, and internal manufacturing standards
- Collaborate with Quality and Engineering teams to resolve quality excursions and drive preventive actions
- Support audits, customer visits, and compliance requirements
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Planning, Supply Chain, Equipment, and R&D teams to meet business objectives
- Support NPI, product transfer, and technology changes impacting CBSM and PPD operations
- Act as a key manufacturing representative in business and operational reviews
People Leadership & Development
- Lead, coach, and develop manufacturing leaders, engineers, and operations teams
- Build a performance‑driven culture focused on safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Ensure effective manpower planning, succession planning, and capability development
