onsemi is seeking a Senior Director of System Product Management & System Product Marketing to lead global system products strategy, portfolio management, and go-to-market execution across a critical system platforms and system products portfolio. This leader will own what we build, why we build it, how we differentiate, and how we win—translating market insight and customer needs into multi-year roadmaps, disciplined investments, and profitable growth.
The role is accountable for end-to-end product lifecycle ownership, spanning market intelligence, roadmap definition, pricing and positioning, customer value creation, and commercial execution. The successful leader will operate as a general manager–like, partnering closely with R&D, sales, SSM, manufacturing, finance, and applications engineering to deliver sustained revenue, target margin, and strategic as well as feature differentiation—particularly across power electronic system platforms and products for AI data center, industrial, automotive, energy markets, and AD&S.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in engineering, Business, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
- 8–12+ years of progressive international leadership experience in system product manage-ment, system product marketing, system product engineering, strategy, or GM-style roles.
- Proven track record owning large, complex system product portfolios and global experience.
- Deep understanding of system product markets, customer buying cycles, and design-in led growth models; preferred in different market domains AI data center, automotive, industrial.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience with system products, power electronics, AI data center, automotive electronics, industrial power, or energy infrastructure.
- Demonstrated success managing roadmaps, pricing, margin expansion, and portfolio rationalization at scale.
- Collaborative leadership style, high accountability attitude, strong solution and target orientation, speed, responsiveness, and flexibility.
- Strong communication skills (verbal, written, core messages & conclusions) and presence with the ability to influence at board, SVP/EVP, and C-suite level.
- Experience working across EMEA, NOAM, and APAC with global customers and teams.
Enterprise Product Strategy & Portfolio Leadership
- Own and drive global system platform and system product strategy aligned to onsemi’s long-term growth priorities, including electrification, energy efficiency, etc.
- Define and govern multi-year portfolio roadmaps across technologies, nodes, and system platforms and products, balancing innovation, capacity, risk, and return.
- Lead portfolio investment decisions, prioritization, and tradeoffs; develop and approve business cases (TAM, margin, ROI, capital efficiency).
- Act as executive steward for product lifecycle governance, including NPI, platform reuse, sustaining strategy, NRND, and EOL decisions.
System Product Marketing & Commercial Execution
- Set the global standard for system product positioning, differentiated value propositions, and
messaging by market segment and customer persona. - Own pricing in collaboration with sales, value capture, and gross margin strategy &
achievement, partnering with SSM, sales and finance leadership to ensure disciplined
execution and approval governance. - Ensure world-class go-to-market readiness: launches, sales enablement, customer collateral,
training, and executive-level customer engagement. - Drive alignment between system platform as well as system product strategy and design-win,
roadmap, pipeline, and gross margin as well as revenue outcomes.
Customer, Market, and Competitive Intelligence
- Establish a rigorous voice-of-customer and market insights framework, ensuring continuous
feedback loops with strategic customers and regions. - Lead competitive intelligence efforts to inform roadmap differentiation, USP achievement,
cost/performance positioning, and win strategies. - Identify new growth vectors, ecosystem partnerships, and adjacency opportunities
(build/buy/partner).
Cross-Functional & Leadership
- Serve as a trusted advisor (e.g. to BU, SVP/EVPs, and the executive leadership team) on
system product roadmap and strategy as well as market direction. - Partner with R&D, sales, SSM and manufacturing roles to align go-to-market with technology
development, capacity planning, and manufacturing strategy with portfolio demand. - Lead, develop, and scale a global System Product Management and System Product
Marketing organization, fostering strong succession and leadership depth. - Drive execution discipline through operating rhythms, metrics / KPI, and decision forums.
