Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering preferable mechanical engineering
Expert level in supplier process and technology especially in design, manufacturing & process engineering
for metal cooler fabrication in electric vehicles (material, mechanical electrical and thermal
management) and joining technologies.
Added advantage if exhibit following material knowledge skill set: Lead frame, base plate, Tape and reel,
ceramic, wire, mold compound
Good material product knowledge and metrology for material testing & reliability test.
Good understanding in semiconductor process for power module, sensor and discrete.
Good Project management skills. Added advantage with IPMA or PMA certificate.
Preferable with VDA6.3 and IATF auditor certificate
Expert in problem solving skills. Added advantage with black belt six sigma skill.
Good Negotiation and soft skills.
High initiative personal & able to travel on short notice
1. Project management for NPI(New Product Introduction)/NTI(New Technology Introduction): Supplier
Development Engineer to ensure supplier deliver good quality product & process and in time to meet Onsemi
time to market requirement.
2. Quality improvement initiative for release products: Drive initiative in poor performing supplier to meet Onsemi
quality expectation.
3. Technical support & alignment with manufacturing site: Work closely with site to co-develop quality synergy.
4. Perform Audit especially for new supplier
5. Perform & coordinate Backend supplier quality risk management and drive improvement plan
