Job Summary:
onsemi is seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Equipment Technician to sustain and run the fab floor with the primary responsibility of resolving equipment and process issues. Technician positions are shift positions working a compressed week of 12-hour shifts.

- Ability to perform equipment setup, conversion, qualification, and buy‑off based on approved work instructions and control plans
- Hands‑on in operation, setup, and troubleshooting of EOL equipment such as Trim/Form, Mold, Singulation, Saw, Laser Mark, Plating, and Inspection systems
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical specifications
- Can troubleshoot, repair electronic board & electrical ,electronic circuits
- Can work with acad, solid works or equivalent drawing tools
- Capability to develop & implement improvement projects
- Computer proficiency especially Microsoft office for maintaining documentation, generating presentation reports, and supporting
- Proficient in instrumentation and metrology, utilizing both basic and advanced tools—including for high-accuracy inspection.
- Skilled in calibration, adjustment, and verification of machines, tools, jigs, and fixtures
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Can work in fast phase changing work environment
Essential Responsibilities:
- Perform, and teach others how to perform, preventive maintenance activities
- React to error messages of factory systems and/or equipment
- Perform, and teach others how to perform, visual inspections (quality check)
- Recover from process and tool interruptions
- Identify and address potential areas for improvement and optimize tool availability, cycle time, utilization, and cost
- Complete all required reporting and documentation
- Understand and follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures and requirements
- Actively participate in continuous improvement processes, learning, and skills development
- Strong team member, able to work well with a global team, train new team members as needed, and other duties as assigned
- Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements, and programs
