Core Responsibilities

  • Electrical Stress Execution: Set up and manage advanced electrical stress tests, including High-Temperature Operating Life (HTOL), Early Life Failure Rate (ELFR), Power Cycle Test, and Dynamic Burn-in.
  • Precision Electrical Characterization: Perform pre- and post-stress I-V (current-voltage) characterization using Curve Tracers and Source Measure Units (SMUs) to detect subtle parametric shifts.
  • Power Integrity Monitoring: Utilize Oscilloscopes and Logic Analyzers to monitor power rails and signal transitions during stress testing to ensure the "stress" remains within specified tolerances.
  • Failure Data Acquisition: Monitor "in-situ" electrical data during long-term stress runs. Identify and log anomalies such as thermal runaway, voltage spikes, or unexpected current consumption.
  • Test Hardware Validation: Verify the electrical integrity of Burn-in Boards (BIBs) and test sockets. Perform continuity and isolation checks to ensure hardware does not introduce electrical noise or artifacts into the data.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain precise logs of electrical parameters (Vdd, Icc, etc.) and generate initial delta-reports comparing pre-stress and post-stress electrical performance.
