The Role We are seeking a Digital IC Design Engineer to strengthen our digital design team. You will be involved in the development of advanced MCU subsystems, hardware accelerators, and peripheral interfaces, contributing across design (SystemVerilog), verification (UVM), embedded software development (C), and automation workflows (Python). What You’ll Need

  • Master’s degree in electrical engineering, Microelectronics, or a related field
  • Initial hands‑on experience in digital IC design gained through an internship or Master’s thesis; 1–3 years of professional experience is a strong advantage
  • Strong interest in microcontrollers and embedded programming
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Eligibility to work in Switzerland.

What Else You May Bring

  • Experience with:
    • Programming in Python
    • Experiences in logic synthesis for FPGA or IC
    • Class based verification and/or advanced digital verification methods (e.g. UVM).

What You’ll Do

  • Design, implement, verify, and benchmark MCU and DSP systems
  • Develop digital hardware accelerators and peripheral interfaces
  • Contribute to functional verification and FPGA prototyping of systems and IP blocks
  • Program MCU and DSP platforms in support of verification and demonstration activities
  • Create detailed technical specifications for digital components
  • Prepare and present technical reviews to internal stakeholders.
