Expertise and Responsibilities

Candidates should demonstrate a strong understanding of market trends and exhibit an eagerness to explore and identify customers’ system challenges. Building and driving innovative solutions to these challenges is key, including the ability to quickly build proof-of-concept (PoC) hardware to validate ideas. In the course of these activities, the architect will be responsible for recognizing gaps within the product and technology portfolio, collaborating with business units and central teams to advance the product roadmap, and defining system products, solutions, tools, and strategic partnerships.

  • Extensive experience designing complete power supply systems and taking them to production and commercialization beyond reference designs, with a comprehensive knowledge of electromagnetic interference (EMI) mitigation.
  • In-depth expertise in power management solutions for electric and hybrid vehicles, emphasizing high-voltage battery systems, motor drives, and inverter electronics
  • Thorough understanding of the evolving requirements for building gigawatt-scale AI factories and megawatt-level compute racks, and their implications for end-to-end power delivery—including grid interface, medium-voltage AC transformers, energy storage systems (ESS), circuit protection, and backup power solutions
  • Drive new systems for solid-state transformers, workload-aware power architectures, thermal design, and resiliency to failures, viewing the energy delivery as an end-to-end application.
  • Skilled at establishing and nurturing relationships with key market influencers to collect valuable insights for product innovation
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit and lead high-performing applications engineering teams, collaborating effectively with business, systems engineering, product units, and sales organizations
  • Willingness and ability to travel both domestically and internationally as required
