Job Summary:
As an, NPI Technical Lead at onsemi you will lead and support the introduction of new technologies, packages, and products into high‑volume manufacturing. You will manage engineering builds, drive qualification activities, and ensure manufacturability, quality, and performance of new products for Automotive and Consumer applications worldwide.
You will work closely with Device, Design, Process, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to deliver robust, high‑quality products that meet customer and business requirements.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electronics, Mechanical, Chemical, Materials, Industrial, or related field).
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; familiarity with SPC, DOE, and basic statistical tools preferred.
- Effective communicator capable of working with cross‑functional engineering and manufacturing teams.
- Ability to manage multiple builds, issues, and priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Semiconductor/NPI experience (internships, coursework, or full-time work) preferred.
- 3–5+ years of relevant experience an advantage and preferred
- Execute and monitor NPI builds across assigned lines and ensure adherence to build instructions.
- Perform product and process characterization using inspection, metrology, and test tools.
- Support equipment readiness, recipe validation, tooling setup, and material verification before builds.
- Collect, interpret, and document build data to support engineering analysis and decision-making.
- Troubleshoot technical issues impacting builds and escalate critical concerns promptly.
- Maintain excellent build documentation and track progress in NPI systems
- Apply engineering and analytical skills to ensure manufacturability, reduce development cycle time, and improve yield.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Process, Planning, Equipment, Quality) to resolve NPI-related constraints.
- Implement engineering methodologies and structured problem‑solving to support smooth production ramp.
- Drive material readiness, process readiness, and documentation readiness for all NPI milestones
