The Role

We are looking for a Physical Design Manager with experience in the implementation of embedded MCU/DSP systems, to build and manage a new analog design team. This team is chartered to deliver a series of differentiated mixed-signal compute products.

  • Design leadership: Build and manage a team to implement and deliver a series of mixed-signal compute products
  • Problem solving & innovation: Identify novel solutions for delivering differentiation performance and cost
  • Technical guidance & mentoring: Guide world-wide teams in technical areas, from architecture to productization

What You’ll Need

  • B.Tech / M.Tech in Electrical Engineering or related technical field
  • At least 12 years of strong technical experience physical design and related areas – timing constraints, synthesis, test implementation, design optimisation, power management, timing closure, electrical / physical verification and packaging
  • Strong leadership credentials
  • An extensive technical background in the development of semiconductor products or sub-components (IPs)
  • Experience with mixed-signal integration
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to define strategic actions, with appropriate design trade-off analyses

What Else You May Bring (Experience in some of the following areas is a plus)

  • Understanding of signal processing components or processing systems
  • Awareness in digital design & verification practices and requirements
  • Analog circuit design, design modeling, IP characterization, etc.
