Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree preferably BSECE, BSME, BSIE or BSEE; 1-year supervisory experience; 2 years Semiconductor manufacturing industry environment.

Experience is an advantage.

  • At least 2-3 years equivalent supervisory experience in a manufacturing industry.

Skills

  • Planning and Organizing, Analysis and Decision-making, Interpersonal skills and Employee Relations, Teambuilding, Work Simplification, Specs Interpretation, Basic Computer skills, MES Transaction, Training and Certification, Basic Equipment Operations, Oral and Written communication.

Responsible for the overall performance of a shift or area concerning delivery and meeting the Manufacturing KPI, not limited to; Productivity, Cycle-time, On-time delivery, Quality & Yield

· Plan headcount deployment, allocation of equipment, loading of materials and use of other resources to ensure maximum labor productivity, equipment, and space utilization.

· Review daily production schedule based on the weekly plan and provide necessary actions to meet delivery commitments.

· Regularly update management towards line issues and drives resolution with support groups for continuous improvement actions.

· Conducts meetings and updates support groups as well as manufacturing operators on target goals and business situations.

· Performs other administrative functions such as people skill enhancement by providing necessary training, recognition and serving of disciplinary actions if required.

· Implement strict compliance on SOP’s and Specs to avoid any deviation that may affect product quality and delays.

· Monitors Manufacturing operator certifications and ensures full compliance to Standard Operating Procedures and Quality Standards.

· Conduct regular coaching and counseling to operators.

· Act as a Quality advocate by ensuring that all personnel are doing their tasks based on defined SOPs and instructions
