The Tax Analyst will be part of the Tax Center of Excellence team based in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm, Czech Republic, supporting the U.S. headquarters tax function in Phoenix, Arizona. The role includes preparing U.S. tax compliance workpapers and forms on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. The position also works closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of statutory and internal reporting requirements.

  • High school diploma or university degree in economics, tax, accounting, or a related field.
  • Accounting knowledge and experience (double-entry bookkeeping).
  • Experience with income tax, value-added tax, or other taxes is an advantage.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred (formulas, PivotTables, etc.)
  • Good written and spoken English skills.
  • Interest in learning and working with advanced analytics and automation tools such as AI, Power BI, Tableau, Power Automate, and Alteryx; prior knowledge is an advantage.
  • Ability to work effectively in an international team environment and meet statutory and internal deadlines.
  • Ability to structure and simplify complex tax data for analysis and decision-making.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly motivated, with a continuous learning mindset, and the ability to work independently.

  • Support the preparation of federal, state, and local income tax workpapers in selected areas, including U.S. fixed asset and intangible rollforwards, as well as quarterly tax provision workpapers.
  • Perform various tax research, forecasting, and apportionment projects as needed.
  • Assist with monthly tax accruals and close activities, including tax consulting fee accruals and selected tax liability accounts.
  • Support U.S. tax compliance activities, including state tax filings and related forms.
  • Collect cash tax forecasts and prepare related summary reports.
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives, leveraging AI and automation tools to enhance efficiency and innovation.
  • Participate in various tax-related projects as needed.
