As the Senior Principal Lead of Product Marketing Management for Vehicle Electrification, you will be the primary architect of our semiconductor product roadmap for the rapidly evolving Electric Vehicle (EV) market. You will lead the strategy for Integrated Circuit (IC) solutions targeting high-growth areas such as Traction Inverters, On-Board Charging (OBC), and DC-DC conversion.

This is a high-impact leadership role that bridges the gap between engineering innovation and market demand. You will oversee the entire product lifecycle—from initial concept and business case development to global go-to-market execution—ensuring our solutions meet the rigorous reliability and safety standards of the automotive industry.

Required Qualifications

• Education: BS in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field (MS or MBA preferred).

Experience: 10+ years of experience in product management or marketing within the semiconductor industry, with at least 5 years specifically focused on the automotive sector.

Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of EV powertrain architectures and electrification trends. Familiarity with high-voltage IC design requirements is highly desirable.

Standards Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of automotive quality and safety standards, specifically ISO 26262 (Functional Safety) and AEC-Q100.

Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical specifications into compelling value propositions for executive-level stakeholders.

Leadership: Proven track record of managing high-performance teams and navigating matrixed global organizations.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with wide-bandgap (SiC/GaN) power electronics.

• Strong network within global OEMs & Tier-1 automotive suppliers.

Salary: onsemi is excited to share the base salary range for this position is $178,135.00 - 320,505.00 exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. The final pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, education, experience, and/or consideration of internal equity of our current team members. Key Responsibilities

Strategic Roadmap Development: Define and execute a multi-year product strategy for electrification ICs (e.g., gate drivers, isolation devices, power management, motor control ICs) that aligns with OEM and Tier-1 trends.

Market Intelligence: Monitor the competitive landscape, including SiC (Silicon Carbide) and GaN (Gallium Nitride) advancements, to identify technical gaps and opportunities for differentiation.

Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy: Lead global product launches, including pricing strategy, distribution channels, and sales enablement materials.

Customer Engagement: Act as the primary technical and business contact for key automotive OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers to gather requirements and secure design-ins.

• Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner closely with R&D, Applications Engineering, and Operations to ensure products are delivered on time, within budget, and meet automotive quality standards (AEC-Q100).

Ecosystem Development: Build and manage strategic partnerships with software providers, reference design partners, and industry bodies to accelerate platform adoption.

P&L Management: Manage the Product Line’s financial health, including revenue forecasting, margin analysis, and investment ROI.
