Responsible for the preventive maintenance activities including the ability to troubleshoot, repair, calibrate and maintain the operations of production tools. The Equipment Maintenance Technician ensures equipment and systems are running efficiently and at optimal capacity to meet manufacturing demands. - Post-secondary education with a technician diploma
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the Equipment Maintenance
- Good mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and in a timely manner.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact as a team player.
- Demonstrated good judgment and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Flexible to work variable shifts based on business and training needs.
- Semiconductor clean room, health and safety and chemical handling is required.
- Responsible for Equipment Maintenance encompassing tools used in assembly of Electronic Modules such as Pick and Place tools, Furnaces, Ovens, Inspection stations, lithography tools, wet benches, Encapsulation, Saw and Final Test.
- Responsible for maintaining high equipment uptime.
- Plan and perform Preventative Maintenance and calibration activities on time.
- Conduct root cause analysis for recurring/unscheduled downtime.
- Ongoing cross-functional communication with Manufacturing, Product/Test/Process Engineering and Facilities.
- Support new installations and implementation and advancement of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) concepts.
- Create daily reports (pass-down) of work carried out.
- BOM management (Spares management, Prepare New Store Items Request, Purchase Requisitions for required parts, follow up on a delivery of spare item)
- Champion Safety, Quality job performance as well as maintain safe/clean conditions in work/storage areas.
