Job Title: Blue Yonder (BY) Planning Architect / Technical Architect
Role Summary: We are seeking a Blue Yonder Planning Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of supply chain planning solutions using Blue Yonder (formerly JDA) SCPO / ESP platform.
This role will partner closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and implementation partners to deliver scalable and high-performance planning solutions across demand, supply, and operations planning.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end architecture design for Blue Yonder SCPO/ESP solutions
- Drive solution design for Demand, Supply, and Operations Planning (D360,ESP/OP)
- Define and implement data integration architecture (Oracle, Snowflake/EDH, legacy systems)
- Optimize planning runs (SRE), batch jobs, and system performance
- Lead BY SaaS/cloud implementations, upgrades, and migrations
- Design and govern customizations (PL/SQL, interfaces, extensions)
- Collaborate with business teams to translate requirements into scalable technical designs
- Drive root cause analysis (RCA) for planning and data issues
- Ensure best practices in configuration, layering, heuristics, and solver tuning
- Provide leadership to offshore technical teams
Core Blue Yonder Expertise
- 10+ years in supply chain planning systems
- Strong experience with:
- Blue Yonder SCPO / ESP / Demand / Fulfillment / OP
- SRE batch processes, node configuration, and performance tuning
- BY data model, integration flows, and planning architecture
Technical Skills
- Strong programming skills in: Oracle PL/SQL
- Experience with:
- Data integration (ETL, APIs, flat files)
- Cloud/SaaS deployments of BY
- Data platforms (Snowflake preferred)
Functional Expertise
- Strong understanding of:
- Demand planning, supply planning, and inventory optimization
- End-to-end supply chain flows (Inventory → WIP → FG → Customer)
- Ability to align technical solutions with business planning processes
Preferred Qualifications
- Blue Yonder certifications (SCPO / ESP / LCT / Demand Fulfillment)
- Experience in semiconductor or complex manufacturing environments
- Exposure to large-scale transformation programs
- Experience with integration into ERP (Oracle Fusion)
Soft Skills
- Strong stakeholder communication
- Ability to lead solution discussions with business and IT
- Experience mentoring and guiding development teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
