Job Summary:

The Senior Manager, Manufacturing is responsible for leading and overseeing end-to-end manufacturing operations to ensure efficient production, high product quality, cost optimization, and compliance with company standards. This role provides strategic direction, drives operational excellence, and ensures alignment with business objectives while fostering a high-performance culture within the manufacturing team.

Requirements:

Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or related field
  • Master’s Degree (preferred for JG15 level)
Experience
  • Minimum 10–15 years of experience in manufacturing operations
  • At least 5–8 years in leadership/managerial role
  • Experience in semiconductor/electronics manufacturing environment is highly preferred
Technical & Functional Skills
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production control, and quality systems
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools
  • Good understanding of EHS, RBA, and regulatory compliance
  • Data-driven decision-making capability
Leadership Competencies
  • Strategic thinking and business acumen
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making ability
  • Effective communication and team development skills
Working Environment

1. Manufacturing Operations & Strategy
  • Lead overall manufacturing operations to meet production targets, delivery commitments, and quality standards.
  • Develop and execute manufacturing strategies aligned with business goals and capacity planning.
  • Monitor and optimize production performance, yield, cycle time, and throughput.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, automation) across manufacturing lines.
2. Leadership & People Management
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of managers, engineers, supervisors, and operators.
  • Build a strong leadership pipeline and ensure succession planning within the organization.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational discipline.
  • Ensure manpower planning aligns with production demand and business growth.
3. Quality, Compliance & EHS
  • Ensure products meet quality standards and customer requirements.
  • Oversee compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and standards (e.g., ISO, RBA, EHS guidelines).
  • Lead initiatives to achieve zero-defect manufacturing and minimize customer complaints.
  • Promote a safe working environment and ensure adherence to Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) policies.
4. Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and productivity enhancement.
  • Implement best practices, automation, and digitalization initiatives within manufacturing processes.
  • Utilize data analytics and KPIs to drive decision-making and performance improvements.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Quality teams to improve manufacturing capability.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and Planning teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Support new product introductions (NPI), process transfers, and ramp-up activities.
  • Align manufacturing priorities with customer requirements and business goals.
6. Financial & Cost Management
  • Manage manufacturing budget, cost control, and operational expenses.
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality and efficiency.
  • Monitor resource utilization and optimize asset performance.
